Finally we can announce the first release to mark the return of swedish synthpop-duo Daily Planet (Jarmo Ollila and Johan Baeckstrom). The band formed already back in 1994 and quickly became a name within the elecropop-scene all over the world. The band only released one album "The Tide" back in 1996 which received brilliant reviews. After the album the band parted ways until 2014. Now 20 years later the band is back, sounding better than ever. People who remember them will not be disappointed and they will for sure gain lots of new followers who discover them now. The band is working on their upcoming album to be released late summer/early autumn. Progress Productions are proud to present one of our all time favourite synthpop acts. "Trust/Fragile" is nothing less than simply amazing. A new era of Daily Planet is waiting to be written.
